All files in Arene are stored securely in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. These files are protected by network-level firewalls to protect against unauthorized access.
Files which have been added to Arene Workspaces cannot be accessed by anyone who has not been granted access to that Workspace by the Owner via the Workspace “Team Management” screen.
Files stored in the Arene Vault are private only to yourself. No-one else can retrieve files stored in the vault.
For added security, you may generate a Capsule of any Arene Workspace. Capsules are encrypted containers that capture all files within a Workspace and their state at the time of Capsule generation. Once a Capsule is created, you may store it in the Arene Vault or on your personal device. A Capsule may then be uploaded to Arene at any time for verification and "Unpacking" to confirm the authenticity of its contents.

Arene Capsules use NIST-approved cryptography protocols, such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). Digital signatures, as used by the Arene Blockchain, are also using current best practice algorithms, such as the SHA2-256 HMAC algorithm.
